DONATE TODAY!

When you support MPC, it’s an investment in Milford’s future, an investment that enables the safety of our youth.

#TogetherWeCan make sure that MPC is here to stay.

How else can you help?

MPC is funded through a Drug Free Communities grant from the government. While the fight against substance use is ongoing, our grant ends within months.  And that could mean the end of Milford Prevention Council.

Concerned Youth, Parents & Educators

  • Help us create and hold fundraisers between now and April 2020
  • Advocate to the Board of Education that our schools need MPC programs to stay
  • Advocate to city officials that Milford faces unacceptable risks to our youth if we lose MPC
  • Advocate to local businesses to make donations to help sustain MPC

Business Owners and Employees

  • Ask your business to make a significant, tax-deductible donation to MPC in the 2019 tax year
  • Help us create and hold fundraisers at your business between now and April 2020
  • Advocate to city officials that Milford faces unacceptable risks to our youth if we lose MPC
  • Tell other local colleagues and businesses about MPC’s need for help

Civic and Community Leaders

  • Introduce us to philanthropy-driven people and organizations that care about substance use prevention
  • Advocate to city officials that Milford faces unacceptable risks to our youth if we lose MPC
  • Help us create ideas for broad, shared business and civic support to help sustain MPC
  • Help us find ideas for grants and/or other funding that is winnable before April 2020

When our grant ends in just a few months, we need to write a Farewell Letter. It’s up to YOU what that letter says. And we have a suggestion for you. Help us make sure the letter only says:
“Farewell, substance use. Because I did my part to help MPC find a way to sustain its work.”
