November 2017 Hero of the Month: Shaileen Landsberg

We are proud to announce our November Hero of the Month, Shaileen Landsberg.

Shaileen Landsberg is a lifelong Milford resident, and has been involved in many of Milford’s school-based, sports, and civic organizations.  She has a solid passion for art and delights in capturing impressions of the world around her. She is an avid blogger and was previously a writer for a Springfield, Mass. based newspaper.  Shaileen can always been seen with a contagious smile on her face and her giving nature knows no bounds.

Currently she serves as Director of Admissions/ Nurse Liaison/ Community Outreach at Orange Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, is a volunteer ESL tutor for The Literacy Center of Milford and serves as a volunteer and member of the Board of Directors for the Beth-El Center and an active member of the Milford Rotary.

Most recently, Shaileen has been honored as the proud recipient of Milford Rotary’s Honorary Norm Parcells Award!   The Rotarian recipients of the Award have been recognized by their clubs as ones who personify the spirit and dedication to community and Rotary, that Norm represented during his lifetime.
