Dear members of the Milford Prevention Council,
On behalf of The Milford Prevention Council, I have the honor of inviting you to our Annual General Meeting (virtual this year by Zoom).
The meeting will take place Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 3:00 PM via zoom and will take the place of your regularly scheduled monthly coalition meeting.
This year we are happy to include our neighboring communities of Bethany, Orange, West Haven and Woodbridge at our annual meeting as we have some exciting news to share that will benefit us all.
As part of this Meeting we will be hosting an interactive awareness program “Hidden in Plain Sight”, presented by the Alliance for Prevention & Wellness. You will virtually explore a mock teenager’s bedroom to see and identify drug paraphernalia and hiding places along with other signs that may indicate alcohol or other drug use by a teen.
Please note that the content of this presentation is geared toward adults ONLY. Children and teens are not advised to attend.
Thank you for your commitment to help prevent substance use within your respective communities. Your involvement is vital to the success of your upcoming community program(s) and initiatives, and your input invaluable.
