We are proud to announce our July Hero of the Month, Jean Tsang!
After 33 years of service Jean retired as Director of the Milford Public Library in 2013. However, retirement did not slow Jean down; quite the contrary … instead, she became even more involved in giving back to our community.
Jean currently serves on the Board of United Way of Milford and as Marketing Committee Chair. Gary Johnson, United Way of Milford President/CEO, commented that you could always find Jean pitching in and helping at their numerous events!
When she’s not busy with United Way, you could find Jean helping out at Orchard Hills School, Food 2 Kids or the Soup Kitchen as well. Jean also is a member of the Historical Society,co-chairing the newsletter and assisting with class tours; and serves as Eucharistic Minister at Saint Mary’s. In her past life she was PT president at Orchard Hills and taught religious education for more than fifteen years.
Thank you Jean for all you do … your past and present years of service to our community are greatly appreciated.
