RAW ENERGY wrapped in a benefit concert for Bridges and Milford Prevention Council

Join PASSING STRANGE for an intimate evening supporting two local organizations, BRIDGES HEALTHCARE & MILFORD PREVENTION COUNCIL, in their efforts to help those battling addiction, substance abuse, and mental health issues. The event will be catered and beverages will be available. There will also be a raffle with prizes donated by various Connecticut businesses. Passing Strange will be performing a set of their original music.

All ages are encouraged to attend.

Passing Strange is a local original indie rock band consisting of Anthony Paolucci on drums, and Kate Mirabella on piano/vocals. Formed in April 2017, the duo has recorded two albums, proceeds from the first, “The Water & the Woods,” being donated to “To Write Love on Her Arms.” In July of 2018, Passing Strange released their second album, “Come Whatever Storms.” Both albums will be on hand for sale at the event.

This year, Passing Strange placed 3rd in the 2018 CTNOW’s Best of Hartford Reader’s Poll for both ‘Best New Band’ and CT Song of the year “Pacific Northwest.” They were also nominated for the New England Music Award for ‘Best New Act.’ The band’s sound has been compared to Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, and Regina Spektor.
